Roof Insulation Installers and Energy Saving

The economic times we are living in are very tough. We need to save a little bit of extra money wherever it is possible. For instance saving energy implies saving money too. Energy bills such as water, electricity, fuel and gas make up the biggest costs. Each year these bills seem to be going up by large amounts. As a result of this, some of us keep wondering whether there are ways to save more energy costs.

Our minds might have first been drawn to turning appliances and lights off in order to lower energy costs. Despite this idea being good, It is not the only way that one could save energy costs. There are numerous other ways in which energy costs could be saved. This article talks about roof insulation using isotherms and aerolite insulation.

We have all heard about aerolite insulation and we know that it is paramount to reduce energy bills. However, what types of insulators are the safest and best to use for our roof? Basically, this article discusses two of the most popular roof insulations that are effective towards reducing energy costs.

Isotherm roof installation

Isotherm installation is manufactured from PET plastic bottles resulting to it being a polyester insulation. Isotherm is a roof installation product that is mainly used inside walls such as loft rooms. It is rated highly as a ceiling insulation product since it is manufactured using the highest standards.

This insulation type is very popular as it is very pleasant to touch. It is mainly allergy free, dust free and itch free. Therefore making the installation a pleasure to use as there is no itch factor. The other benefits of using the isotherm insulation are: it is eco-friendly, reduces noise around the home since it has acoustic properties, its warm in winter and cool in summer among other benefits.

Aerolite insulation

This insulation is ranked second best after the isotherm. When installed it helps reduce harsh summer heat . When this insulation is installed, 85% of heat flow is reduced and therefore going a long way towards reducing electricity consumption by a large extent.  Further translating to reduction in temperature from 8 degrees to 4 degrees.

Aerolite roof installation is considered to be eco-friendly insulation that is produced from recycled glass. The recommended width as required by laws is 135mm and it results to saving energy costs. Moreover, for all new homes, an aerolite of correct thickness should be installed in order to be compliant to regulations.
